SIDDHIS: Powers You Can Develop

Siddhis are powers that come from mastering the mind, attention, and inner states so deeply that reality is experienced differently and seems to respond differently, or that reality itself warps. This is the essence of magick, meditation, and spirituality. The Gods are teachers of these abilities, and these powers are only an indicative list. Zevism does not put any limits on the development of one’s powers.


  1. Anima – the experience of becoming extremely small or subtle. Your consciousness can perceive the creation itself.
  2. Mahima – the experience of vast expansion or boundlessness. Internal power dynamics affecting your self-perception.
  3. Laghima – the sensation of lightness or weightlessness. From this power, other abilities like levitation and telekinesis can be built.
  4. Garima – the sensation of great heaviness or density. Power over gravitational forces.
  5. Prapti – intuitive access to distant people, places, or knowledge. The Kundalini, and the highest levels of advancement, produce what we refer to as “all-knowing” capacities.
  6. Prakamya – fulfillment of intention, things aligning easily. A mystical alignment of all things merely due to thought and will, which many call “luck.”
  7. Ishitva – mastery over inner and outer states of any and all sorts.
  8. Vashitva – influence over others or situations, which can scale to exceptional extents.
  1. Mastery of Thought – control over one’s own mental activity. One can choose what they think, how they think it, and when. This power alone is a major power that can help one navigate existence. Through this power, other powers can be built.
  2. Knowledge of Other Minds – awareness of others’ thoughts or emotions, all the way to mind reading, whether someone is close or at a distance.
  3. Power of Intention – thoughts strongly shaping outcomes. The mere power of thought, as the mind and soul grow, can manipulate the fabric of mental, emotional, and general reality. At the highest levels, the Initiate must be very careful about what they say or even think. This is why mental control is paramount to be mastered early.
  4. Perfect Memory – exceptional recall. The power of memory can be extensive, without errors or with minimal errors. This goes all the way up to past-life recollection. To reach these levels, one must be in a most advanced state.
  5. Freedom from Fear of Death – psychological release from death anxiety. The Initiate is freed from the shackles of death that torment everyone else, due both to experience of other domains and to mastery of the mental and emotional domains.
  1. Lucid Dreaming – awareness within dreams. One can use this as they see fit, creating worlds of their own.
  2. Dream Influence – affecting dream imagery of oneself or others.
  3. Awareness in Deep Sleep – consciousness without dreaming. Sleep can stop being irrelevant or animalistic, and the essence of sleep can change for the Initiate into a very constructive place of work.
  4. Inner-World Travel – vivid inner or imaginal experiences. In combination with the above, sleep is transformed, and many powers can arise as a result of sleep, such as transference of the soul to influence outcomes in other places.
  1. Time Compression – time seeming to pass very quickly. One can better control how they perceive “time.” At extreme levels, hours can become seconds, and minutes can become hours.
  2. Time Expansion – time seeming to slow down. Same as above.
  3. Knowledge of Past, Present, and Future Patterns – intuitive foresight that reveals how patterns and events will play out, with very high or even total accuracy.
  4. Perception of Micro-Moments – awareness of extremely small intervals. Inspection-like abilities from which one can gather major information of use, normally not perceivable by most people.
  1. Awareness Beyond the Body – a sense of separation from the physical form. The Initiate will feel their soul and understand over time that it is separate from the material body.
  2. Subtle-Body Movement – astral or imaginal travel experiences, also known as astral projection.
  3. Distant Perception – seeing or sensing remote locations without being physically present there at all, at will or, in earlier stages, involuntarily.
  1. Power of Speech – words carrying unusual persuasive force. One’s speech attains magickal power.
  2. Magnetic Presence – strong personal charisma. One’s presence can increase in charisma and in many forms of talent.
  3. Calming or Freezing Chaos – stabilizing intense situations. One’s calmness of energy influences others energetically.
  4. Dispersing Harmful Energies – removing disruptive influences, whether astral entities, emotional states, or any form of negativity.
  1. Mastery of the Elements and Energy Work – control of bodily and energetic balance. These contain hundreds of applications, such as influencing reality, other people, flows of events, fate, luck, fortune, and more.
  2. Control of Vital Energy – breath and energy regulation. In extreme cases, one can gain increased survivability and faster recuperation from ailments or wounds, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and materially.
  3. Radiant Vitality – strong presence, health, or luminosity. Health can improve dramatically, diseases can disappear, and at extreme levels, these effects only scale upward.
  1. Liberation (Moksha / Kaivalya) – freedom. A mysterious term that, as can be understood from the above, relates to all the powers listed and represents the highest level of existence attainable through mastery of meditation.
  1. Transcedental Powers Beyond Ability for Public Mention – due to their occult and highly secretive nature, only certain things can be said of these powers. These include communication with the Gods, necromancy, communication with departed souls, and time, energy, and reality-altering powers of ever-higher extent, with pinnacle abilities even including choosing the time of one’s death or even material immortality. Certain Initiates, such as Pythagoras or Apollonius, were renowned for bilocation, raising the dead, or even teleportation.
