The Gods and their Hierarchy:
Gods, High Daemons, Daemons, Demi-Gods & Heroes

by High Priest Hooded Cobra 666

On this page one will understand the surface level of the Hierarchy of the Gods. These Gods are arrayed in these categories for easier understanding by the Initiate. One must understand to approach each of these with the necessary respect and feel very blessed that they have, in fact, by joining Zevism, entered the path of their own deification alongside the Gods. The Gods operate as a family unit, and we humans are growing in this ladder and hierarchy of existence.

I. The Gods

At the top of the Hierarchy stand the immortal Gods, self-radiant and eternal, the first principles of all existence. Zeus, Father of Gods and men, governs the harmony of heaven; Poseidon commands the rolling depths; Athena holds the wisdom of divine thought; Apollo shines forth the light of prophecy and truth. Their powers are ultimate, mysterious, and foundational to all of existence, and they are the most powerful beings. They are not distant nor mute but living powers, whose will breathes through the elements, through justice, through destiny itself. The Gods are perfection embodied, and every act of worship, every hymn, is an attempt of the mortal soul to attune itself to their eternal rhythm. To align with the Gods is to participate in the divine order that holds the cosmos together.

II. The High Daemons

Above the Daemons stand the High Daemons, mighty intelligences who govern the laws of order and communication between realms. They are the divine intermediaries spoken of by the wise Plato, the messengers who carry the will of the Gods to mortals and bear the prayers of men back to heaven. They are the unseen ministers of fate, harmony, and justice. Dike, Themis, and Eros are of their order, setting forces that sustain the unity of heaven and earth, of thought and passion, of being and becoming. Without their functions the universe would collapse. Through them, the cosmic order is maintained, and no mortal can act outside their sphere without consequence.

III. The Daemons

Next are the Daemons, the personal spirits and guardians of each living soul, and the Daemons who run the world and the lower domains of existence but are still unfathomably more powerful than any mortals. From birth, every mortal also has their own Guardian Daemon. Within we also all have a “Guardian Daemon” who, when we enter the path, becomes active to guide us. They are a guiding spirit who whispers the divine law into the heart. Socrates himself spoke of his Daemon, the inner voice that warned him when he would stray from truth, and endless other historical examples had their Guardian Gods, whom, with spiritual practice and meditation, they could receive counsel from. These beings are not to be feared but revered, for they are the messengers of destiny and conscience. The ancients poured libations to the Agathos Daimon, the Good Spirit, in gratitude for unseen protection. When a man listens to his Daemon and acts in harmony with its counsel, he fulfills the purpose for which he was born in their lifetime.

IV. The Deified Heroes – Sometimes Called “Demi-Gods”

Beneath them dwell the Demi-Gods, those born of divine seed and mortal womb. In this category, we have incarnated people who have done impressive feats. Heracles, Perseus, Achilles: these are not mere men but proofs that humanity can ascend toward divinity through courage, discipline, and the triumph of will over chaos. The Demi-Gods walk the threshold between the human and the immortal. Their struggles mirror the trials of every soul that strives to overcome its lower nature. Through their victories, they reveal that divinity can be embodied, not only worshiped. They are the proof that the Gods’ essence can dwell in man.

V. The Heroes

And finally, the Heroes: those mortals who, through valor and virtue, ascend beyond the common lot of man. They are not forgotten in death, for the memory of their deeds resounds through time, and the Gods themselves honor them. Upon their tombs, men build altars, for they are the guardians of cities and the exemplars of divine potential within humankind. Their courage is sacred imitation; their sacrifice, a bridge between mortal life and eternal glory.
