Complete Chakra Meditation
updated by: High Priest Zevios Metathronos
To perform this meditation optimally, the soul should already be open. If you haven't already performed the "Opening of the Soul" meditations, then it is strongly encouraged to do so before beginning the meditation given below.
In the ancient grimoires, the secret code word for chakra/s is "God/s." The full chakra meditation involves working on all of your seven chakras per meditation session. For example, you would begin with your crown chakra, visualize it, make sure it is aligned correctly, then perform the specific breathing for the crown chakra. Following this, you would perform the vibration for the crown chakra, and then meditate on it. After working on your crown chakra, you would move onto your 6th chakra and do the same, then your throat chakra, and all the way down to your base chakra. That is the full chakra meditation. You can also work on only one or more individual chakras of your choice, but if you choose to do this, at the end of the meditation, it is important to make sure your energies are balanced. This can be done by visualizing and aligning each chakra and vibrating its word of power.
If you have a weaker chakra or want to amplify the powers of one of your chakras, it is important to perform the meditation during the day and hours of that specific chakra's ruling planet. When doing this, even though you are working on all seven chakras, the energies of that specific chakra will dominate. To find the planetary hours for your specific locale, the free program Chronos XP is highly recommended. Research has confirmed that the Ancient Chaldean planetary hours are extremely accurate. Download Chronos from this website.
There are different words of power that you can choose from to empower your chakras. Make sure you stay consistent: for example, if you are using Runic vibrations, then stay with Runic vibrations for the entire session, using them for all seven chakras.
Words of Power: Three Levels
The words of power are given in levels. The "Traditional" vibrations still work, but they have been corrupted and drastically watered down over the centuries. They are included here because the correct vibrations in Sanskrit can be overwhelming if the soul is not yet strong enough to handle the energy. For new or inexperienced practitioners, the Traditional words of power, along with the words from the 1586 Necronomicon, provide a gentler entry point.
The Necronomicon of 1586 (not to be confused with the fictional Lovecraft creation) is a real grimoire containing words of power that correspond to the chakra system. Its vibrations carry genuine spiritual force and can be used as an intermediate step between the Traditional words and the full Sanskrit or Runic vibrations.
The Runic vibrations are the most powerful level. They were received directly from the Gods and have been tested under divine supervision in advanced spiritual work, including the empowerment of souls in the astral realm who have passed from physical life. The Runic vibrations carry the full concentrated force of each chakra's planetary energy.
"The subject is naturally one of the most obscure that is known to scholarship, and so far no one has thrown any real light on it. That, however, there was once in Egypt and Chaldea a science of this 'nature language,' or 'tongue of the Gods,'"
"In Egypt, the priests hymn the Gods by means of the seven vowels, chanting them in order; instead of the pipe and lute, the musical chanting of these letters is heard."
"In speaking of the vowels or 'sounding letters', each of the seven spheres being said to give forth a different vowel or nature-tone, Nicomachus informs us that these root-sounds in nature are combined with certain material elements, as they are in spoken speech with the consonants; but 'just as the soul with the body, and music with the lyre-strings, the one produces living creatures and the other musical modes and tunes, so do those root-sounds give birth to certain energies and initiatory powers of divine operations.'"

How the Full Meditation Works
The Complete Chakra Meditation is extremely powerful.
Each session should begin with correctly aligning your chakras. Ideally, you should have performed all of the meditations for opening the soul. The full meditation for each chakra is in four steps:
- Visualizing and correctly aligning the specific chakra you are working on.
- Performing the breathing technique specific to the chakra you are working on.
- Vibrating the word of power for the chakra.
- Spending a few minutes meditating on (visualizing, sensing, and feeling) the chakra.
To keep this page manageable, links for each chakra are given below. It is important to work on each chakra in the order given (crown to base), or you may reverse the order (base to crown) if your chakras are fully open.
Simplified Guide: The Complete Chakra Meditation
What This Meditation Does
This is the full workout for your energy body. Just as a complete physical workout trains every muscle group, this meditation activates, aligns, and empowers every major chakra in a single session. It is the most comprehensive energy practice available and will produce the fastest advancement when done consistently.
The Session Structure
For each of the seven chakras, you do four things in order:
- Align: Visualize the chakra and make sure it's pointing the right direction (see Chakra Alignment).
- Breathe: Perform the specific breathing pattern for that chakra. Each chakra responds to a different breath rhythm.
- Vibrate: Chant the word of power for that chakra. The vibration is what actually opens and charges the chakra.
- Feel: Spend a few minutes simply sitting with the chakra, feeling its energy, sensing its color and warmth. This is where the real integration happens.
Which Words of Power to Use
There are three levels. Pick one level and stay with it for the entire session. Don't mix.
- Level 1 (Traditional): The most gentle. Good for beginners. These words have been somewhat diluted over time but still carry power.
- Level 2 (Necronomicon 1586): Intermediate. The 1586 Necronomicon is a real grimoire (not the Lovecraft fiction). Its words of power carry more force than the Traditional set. Good for practitioners who have been meditating for a few months.
- Level 3 (Runic): The most powerful. These vibrations were received from the Gods and carry the full concentrated force of each chakra. Use these only when your soul is strong enough. You'll know: if the energy feels overwhelming, step back to Level 2.
Planetary Timing
If you want to strengthen a specific chakra, perform the full meditation during the planetary hour of that chakra's ruling planet. Even though you work on all seven chakras, the energy of that planet's hour will amplify the target chakra disproportionately. The Chaldean planetary hours (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn) are the most accurate system. The Chronos XP program calculates these for any location on Earth.
Important Tips
Work from crown to base. This is the standard order. Once all your chakras are fully open, you can also work base to crown, which produces a different energetic effect (ascending vs. descending current).
A complete session takes 40-60 minutes. Don't try to rush it into 15. Each chakra needs real time and real attention. If you can only do 20 minutes, pick 2-3 chakras and do them properly rather than rushing through all seven.
Consistency matters more than duration. A 30-minute session done every day will produce more results than a 2-hour session done once a week.
Sources and Further Study
- Demetrius, De Elocutione §71 (c. 1st century BCE): "In Egypt, the priests hymn the Gods by means of the seven vowels, chanting them in order." This confirms that the practice of vibrating specific sounds for each chakra (each "God") was a formal priestly discipline in ancient Egypt.
- Nicomachus of Gerasa, Manual of Harmony (c. 100 CE): Nicomachus provides the theoretical framework: each of the seven planetary spheres emits a specific tone, and the combination of these tones with material elements produces "energies and initiatory powers of divine operations." This is the ancient science behind words of power.
- Proclus, Commentary on the Cratylus (5th century CE): Proclus discusses the "divine names" and argues that certain sounds have an inherent connection to the divine powers they invoke. This is not arbitrary symbolism: the sound itself carries the power. This principle underlies the use of specific vibrations for specific chakras.
- The Chaldean Oracles (c. 2nd century CE): "Do not change the barbarous names of evocation, for there are names in every nation given by God, having an unspeakable power in the rites." The "barbarous names" are the original, uncorrupted words of power. The three levels of vibration given here preserve this principle: the closer to the original, uncorrupted form, the more powerful the vibration.
- Patanjali, Yoga Sutras I.27-28 (c. 2nd century BCE): "His [Ishvara's] designator is the pranava [AUM]. Its repetition and the contemplation of its meaning [is the way]." The use of sacred sound as the primary vehicle for spiritual transformation is one of the oldest and most universal spiritual practices on Earth.
